Disc Thickener

The disc thickener is used for washing, and thickening stock in the pulping & and papermaking process its working principle is to dewater by gravity through the level difference between stock put of disc wire & and white water in the disc. The pulp at the consistency of 0.8 to 1.2% enters the vat and then is attached to the disc segment.

The white water in the disc flows to the ends of the hollow shaft through the guide slot and then discharges out Stock attached to the disc segment is cleaned by high pressure shower The thickened stock at the consistency of 3 to 5 % flows over the plate of adjusting valve into outlet vat where it is discharges out. A variable speed drive is provided for required outlet consistency & and capacity.

Principle

  • Higher efficiency with less space requirement.

  • Easy adaptation to various grades and consistencies of stock.

  • Low wear and maintenance cost

  • Construction is complete in Stainless Steel.

  • Low maintenance to disc changes.

DiscFilter_04 copy.jpg

Disc Filter

The disc filter is primarily designed for fibre recovery from white water and broke thickening of medium to large flow. It has ability to handle high freeness applications, high feed consistencies and large flows. Other benefits of the units are high capacity, low maintenance cast, operational realiability and minimum space requirement.

All wetted parts are made of high grade stainless steel.

Twin_Drum_Press_06 copy.jpg

Twin Drum Press

The stock enters under the vat is filtered and dehydrated naturally by Twin Drums wrapped with different wire mesh size. The drums are pressed pneumatically with air bellows and the stock is dehydrated between twin wire drums.

The dehydrated stock is scrapped with the help of doctor and is carried by the screw conveyor for further processing in Hot Dispersor or Kneader.

Principle

  • Powerful dehydration with high outlet Consistency from 20 – 30 % for a Low inlet consistency of 4 to 6 %.

  • Low specific power due to natural vacuum system.

  • Easy to regulate the outlet stock consistency against varying inlet consistency with variable drive & and pneumatic loading system.

  • High yield rate.

  • Easy maintenance.

  • Minimum space requirement because of compact design.
