Turbo Separator

The stock is fed tangentially into the inlet chamber. The inlet chamber is having two separate outlets for light and heavy rejects. The light rejects is taken from the center of the door whereas the heavy rejects which gets accumulated in the chamber is taken out tangentially at regular intervals and drained.

The stock is screened with the help of specially designed rotor and the perforated plate. The accept is collected in the accept chamber whereas the light rejects are taken in the secondary screen for fiber recovery.

Principle

Features

  • Operating consistency at 2-3%

  • Light and heavy impurities are separated and efficiently removed.

  • Due to high deflaking action the screen is ideally suited to kraft and other type of furnish.

Fractionating Screen LeftISO04 copy.jpg

Fractionating Screen

There is a tendency in regular screening for the long fibre to be rejected by a screen. In fractionating Screen the principle is exploited by running the screen  with a high reject rate, typically over 30% by mass.
This means that the shorter fibres tend to be found in the accept and the longer fibres are found in the reject and carry with them nearly all of the remaining contaminants.

Principle

Application

  • A Fractionating Screen is used to split the stock into two discrete pulp stocks with different fibre lengths.

  • These independent stocks can then be treated or used differently.

  • Can Be Operated on a range of stock consistencies but is generally under 3.5%.

  • Fractionation is normally performed after Pulping, Cleaning and Coarse screening to prevent heavy wear on the fractionating screen

  • Can be used as a coarse or fine screen design with very minor modifications.

Up Flow Screen

Stock is enter tangentially into the bottom of the screen and rejects exit from the top. Heavy impurities settle out from the feed and migrates to the reject outlet below. The early removal of heavy Impurities results to more efficient screen performance. The Stock then swirls upward through the screening zone.

Principle

Application

  • Used in the Pulp Preparation with high Production Capacity.

  • Designed into the promoting flow type structure

  • Operating Consistency between 1.0-3.0%

  • Heavy Duty Bearing Housing

  • Easy access to Screen Basket & Rotor for cleaning, adjustment, inspection.

  • Reject Dilution Port for high consistency application

Principle

Application

  • Medium Consistency Horizontal Pressure Screen is ideally suited for eliminating contraries in thick stock preparation system for paper plant based on recycled fibre

  • Operating consistencies between 2 - 4 % with conical hole drilled basket and 3.0 % with slotted basket.

  • Centrifugal type with closed and specially designed foil / cam type Rotor ensures excellent screening with good defibrication prior to refining without fractionating of contaminants.

  • Low specific power.

  • Little space requirement and less maintenance.

  • Can be fitted with drilled or slotted baskets without any modification.

  • The rejects from the chamber can be taken in a REJECT SCREEN / REJECT SEPARATOR.

Reject Screen HOLE/ SLOT

SAMARTH REJECT SCREEN is a Secondary Screen with Washing Cycle to handle the rejects of Primary Screen and ensures no fiber loss. In some application it can also be used as tertiary reject handling screen for fiber recovery.

The Reject Screen works in cycles with fully automatic operation. The stock to be processed is entered into the inlet chamber for a predetermined time (depending upon the contraries in the furnish) in which a specially designed three vanes rotor rotates and cleans the fibers through a vertical screen plate with calibrated holes. Contaminants are stopped by this screen plate which is then washed in a washing process to separate & further recover the good fibers. The reject is finally drained & the whole cycle repeats. The cycle time duration is adjusted depending upon the contaminants in the stock.

Principle

  • High Performance In Reject Processing.

  • Minimum Fiber Loss.

  • Highly Effective.

  • Low Absorbed Power.

  • Fully Automatic Operation.

  • Minimum Space Requirement.

  • Low Pressure Drop.

  • No Vibration.
