High Consistency Pulper with Decontaminator
Samarth High Consistency Pulpers are equipped with a special cast cum fabricated H D screw rotor having three numbers of flights revolving at moderate speed. Due to gentle uniform slushing and flight profile, the rotor transmits energy which generates fiber-to-fiber friction at high consistency without any cutting of contaminants. The uncut plastics & other contaminants are then removed from Decontaminator.

D Pulper
D Type pulper operates at low consistency and is ideally suited for brown-grade applications. The most integrated and modular concept for coarse contaminant removal at low and medium consistency with the Hydrapurge, Junk Trap, Drum Screen and D Type Slusher Vat.
The D Type Pulper is equipped with a D Tub and Vokes-type rotor. The pulper can be operated continuously or batch-wise. The pulper rotor includes pumping vanes and deflaking vanes to create a strong circulation of the stock and a powerful disintegration effect (defibrication) while rotating. For secondary fiber applications, the pulper is operated continuously.
The D-type Pulper is specially designed to reduce the horizontal flow of the stock and reinforce vertical revolution flow hence more throughput. The D Pulper provides more than 20% improvement in capacity compared to the conventional pulpers with the same horsepower and consistency.
Principle
-
Easy separation of fiber, with minimum fibre loss.
-
The use of smaller perforation sizes in downstream screens.
-
Low specific power consumption.
-
Used for treating OCC, AOCC, NDLKC.
-
The light & heavy reject can be discharged from the tub before being broke.
-
Purger prevents contaminants build up in the pulper vat & helps in production increase.

Eccentric Pulper
Eccentric Pulper means the off-set location of the Pulper Rotor. Gives benefit in the turbulence action in the vat Tub for mixing of suspension submerge rapidly and thus reduce the dwelling time. Eccentric Pulper Vat has the double-cone bottom of the arrangement. creates a flow-optimized transition from the pulper bottom to the cylindrical trough wall.
Principle
-
Suitable for Continuous Operation.
-
Reduce Power input compared to normal conventional Pulper Design.
-
Heavy-duty Duty Bearing housing assembly takes care of high-impact loads of bales or waste paper bundles.
-
Easy Gap Clearance arrangement between Rotor & screen plate.

Virgin Bale Pulper
Features
-
Virgin Bale Pulping consistency typically from 5 - 8%.
-
Low specific energy consumption.
-
Operation is either batch or continuous.
-
Flexible about furnish and production.
-
Cast rotor with unique mixing vanes for high efficiency.
-
V-belt drive arrangement or gear drive.

Technical Specification

Decontaminator
The Samarth “Decontaminator” Extractor is designed to extract the stock from the High Consistency Pulper while at the same time entrapping and concentrating contaminants. The high-consistency stock from the pulper is taken into the Decontaminator with the help of a dumping valve where the consistency is brought down to 4 % with the help of the dilution valve.
The specially designed non-attrition Hydrofoil rotor provides evenly mixed extracted stock. The perforated plate behind the revolving rotor helps in screening the stock and separates the fibres from the uncut contaminants. The rejects are finally drained with the help of the reject valve and the whole cycle repeats.
Principle
-
Removes the uncut contaminants from the High Consistency Pulper effectively with minimum fibre loss.
-
Keeps pulper tub clean, providing pre-screened extracted stock. With maximum removal of contaminants in the Decontaminator, the efficiency of onward screens improves drastically.
-
Extraction and detracting functions are performed simultaneously.
-
Decreases cycle time.
-
Increases system capacity.

Principle

Ragger
Features
-
Ragger is used with a ‘D’ Hydrapulper machine to remove the trash that results from slushing secondary fiber furnish.
-
It is supplied with an adjustable fabricated steel base that elevates the ragger to the proper operating height at the side of the D Pulper tub Vat.
-
Once positioned, the ragger utilizes the wire that binds the waste paper bales and the swirling hydraulic motion of stock being pulped in the tub to form a continuous wire-reinforced rope.
-
The rope snags sheet plastic, rags, wet strength paper and other light trash normally encountered in waste paper furnish.
