Head Box

The floatation Deinking System comprises of series of Primary Cells and Secondary Cells fitted with injector nozzles through which stock is passed. The nozzles are designed in such a way that while the stock is passing vacuum is created which sucks the air into the injector. The injector allows mixing of Air to Pulp and results in micro turbulence that generate wide range of air bubble sizes. Printing inks, stickies etc which are hydrophobic in nature get adhere to these air bubbles and make foam layer which is then separated and collected in a separate foam tank. The collected foam is again treated in Secondary cell for maximum yield.

Pope Reel

Pope Reel is the first finishing device after paper machine. The paper roller is driven by its own weight and rotation of the cold cylinder. It can make paper from the paper machine into rolls with uniform tightness to meet the requirements of different kinds of paper.

Principle

  • Pope Reel works on the principle of friction winding of paper. 
    Primary & Secondary arm is loaded pneumatically / hydraulically and tilted hydraulically / mechanically by manual operation. 
     

  • Pope reel drum is CI or MS fabricated and designed to withstand required nip pressure and provided with a doctoring arrangement.
     

  • Framing is heavy-duty in MS construction

Size Press

Size Press is designed as two rolls Press with Hydraulic or pneumatic down pressure system its rolls are arranged horizontally where a movable Press roll is installed lower than the stationary one.

Principle

  • Press rolls are dynamically balanced for required speeds.
     

  • The sizing agent is led through distribution piping between press rolls and maintained by external gates.
     

  • The volume of the sizing agent can be regulated using valves that are hand-operated or electro-pneumatically controlled. Excessive volume of the sizing agent is taken away through several waste through.
     

  • Press rolls are cleaned by set of side and front wipers.
